Lots of fun yesterday helping the 4 Australian children carve pumpkins, see them in their costumes and going around with them collecting goodies from local shop keepers. They were ready to play along and when no candy was on hand they filled in with fresh sliced pepperoni or donuts. Lots of smiles and laughter. The kids are now planning how to bring this custom home with them. Dulcetto o scarzetto!
Is Halloween only celebrated in USA? The Italians didn't have candy? GLAD you were there to help out!
