We get our booklet stamped in each city and church along the way. You must confirm that you have walked a minimum of 66 miles to get a certificate in Campostela. we won't walk that much but it is fun to get our booklet signed.
The countryside is peaceful. We were the shell with the red cross of Santiago ...the sign of the pilgrims.
This must be very spiritual for you and Mona. I've been following your route and enjoy the pics and your insight.

ReplyDeleteSt james was said to arrive by sea and used the shellvas a cup and bowl. Also the shape has many lines that come together like the many CAMIMOS that all lead to Santiago. 😍
