Just to let everyone know that I am safe and no damage reported in Spello. I was in Cinque Terre with Jann and Leslie all weekend and just returned to hear of another shake. I had a wonderful time with J & L. Pictures can't do justice. Love to all.

Having a wonderful time with Jann and Leslie. Took boat to see all 5 towns. Seafood dinner at Belforte restaurant in Vernazza. Great weather. Hotel room with seascape view.

Pizza
Finally making time for pizza! Another sunny day walking up and down the streets of Spello. Narrow streets that suddenly give way to wide panorama. This afternoon the family from Australia, Gina the owner and I are going to walk along the roman aqua duct near by. The 4 children don't have Halloween in Australia so Gina decorated with spider Web stuff and plastic spiders. The youngest daughter says she wants to be a witch. Do they trick or treat here? Tremor reinforced
Have been seeing these curvy metal pieces bolted on houses. Now I know that these are like the rods used Charleston to stabilize bldg. After the earthquake in Asissi 20 years ago Spello began a program of stabilization. When the owners here converted a warehouse into apts, they took further steps. Weather pleasant and breezy. Hoping for no more tremors.

Tremors
Lovely day walking around. 73 and cloudy. This evening we felt tremors on 2 separate ocassion. We all came outside to see what else would happen. Luckily the owners are here and assured us that extra re enforcement was part of their renovation. They live in San Francisco so know a lot about earthquakes. The last one was 75 miles away. They are in communication with news and weather people and will warn us if more are expected. In between there was a thunder and lightening storm. I will keep you posted.
